A curved raised pool against a wall of green, with lawn, deck and steps resolved in a single level change.

A rear garden defined by a tall neighbouring wall and an ageing timber deck. The design raises a curved-end pool within a white rendered shell so that it sits at seat height from the lawn, takes the ivy-covered wall as its backdrop, and steps the deck and paving down around it so the change in level reads as intended.

Sun lounges occupy the upper terrace overlooking the water, strelitzia and layered tropical planting provide privacy along the boundary, and a band of lawn runs directly to the pool wall.
