Pool, garden and alfresco, designed as one plan
When the pool, the paving and the planting are designed by different hands, the joins show. We resolve the whole property together.
Outdoor projects are often assembled in pieces. The pool company designs the pool, the builder allows for an alfresco, and the garden is left for whatever space and budget remain. Each part may be sound on its own. Together, the levels do not quite meet, the pool fence lands where it suits nobody, and the equipment ends up beside the outdoor dining table.
We design the pool, the garden, the planting and the outdoor living areas as a single plan. Levels, drainage and sight lines from inside the house are resolved once. The pool barrier is part of the design from the first sketch. Lighting, irrigation and services are coordinated before anything is built.
The result is then documented as one set of drawings, so every contractor prices and builds from the same information. It is a simpler way to work, and it is the reason our finished landscapes read as one considered place.
